Azure Blue Rotary Meeting 22nd

Very good meeting with great testimonials on the 30 participants from the event instructors on the STAY ACTIVE, STAY STRONG, STAY INDEPENDANT [SASSSI] pilot program. Here we are discussing the program at Auzur Blue on the Redcliffe Peninsula at our Rotary meeting.

Community speech prize winners

El presidento represented the club at our local federal members schools speech night. The winner gets to present her case to the PM. With these young students taking over, we are in good hands.

Speaker Terry Vo

Hi members from Terry Vo

Thank you so much for having me as your guest speaker this morning and for picking me up from UQ last night. I had such a lovely time meeting your fellow members and speaking about the future of Rotary. A special thank you to Jan for hosting me and to Hugh and Mary for taking me back to Brisbane.

I wanted to follow-up and send you the link to the Study Brisbane website where you can find the profiles of all the Brisbane International Student Ambassadors (BISAs). The link for the profiles can be found here

Also, I will ask my Ecuadorian friend about the presence of Rotary but I was able to find 10 clubs currently there. I just learned that there is an app called the Rotary Club Locator for iPhone, Android, or Blackberry from my search for Rotary clubs in Ecuador. You can see the club information here.

Today, I forgot to share that I have a blog that you all can visit! My blog is about my time here in Australia as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. There will definitely be a blog post about my visit to your club in the next week so be on the lookout. :)

I look forward to catching up with you again and let me know if you'd like for any of the BISAs to come speak at your club. I would be more than happy to make the connection. Have a lovely evening.

Sincerely,

Terry
